Trade-In Policy

At Price Point Electronics, we are excited to offer a Trade-In Program that allows you to exchange your old electronics for credit towards the purchase of new products! Whether you’re upgrading to a new phone, laptop, or other electronic device, our Trade-In Program helps you save while recycling your old equipment responsibly.

1. Eligibility for Trade-In

• Products Accepted for Trade-In: We accept a wide range of electronics, including but not limited to:
  • Mobile Phones & Tablets
  • Laptops & Computers
  • Televisions & Audio Equipment
  • Smartwatches & Wearables
  • Gaming Consoles
  • Home Appliances (subject to condition)
• Condition of Trade-In Products: Your device should be in working condition. The value of your trade-in will be based on the condition of the item:
  • Good Condition: The device is fully functional, without major defects or damage.
  • Fair Condition: The device works but may have some scratches, dents, or other minor cosmetic damage.
  • Non-Functional Items: We accept trade-ins for non-functional devices, but these may have little to no trade-in value.
• Ownership: The device must be your property, and you must be able to provide proof of purchase if requested.

2. How to Trade-In

• In-Store Trade-In: Visit any Price Point Electronics store with your item, and one of our customer service representatives will assess its condition. After evaluation, we’ll provide you with a trade-in offer in the form of store credit or voucher.
• Online Trade-In: If you prefer to trade in your device online, contact our customer service team at trade@pricepoint.co.ke with details about your device, including the make, model, and condition. We will guide you through the process and provide a shipping address for sending the device.

3. Trade-In Value

• The value of your trade-in will depend on the type, model, condition, and market demand of the device.
• Assessment Process: Our team will inspect and assess the item for its trade-in value, considering factors such as functionality, cosmetic condition, and age. If your item is deemed ineligible or offers no trade-in value, you will be informed.
• Instant Quotes: We provide instant trade-in quotes for most devices at our physical stores. For online trade-ins, expect an initial quote within 24-48 hours after receiving the details of your device.

4. Trade-In Credit

• Store Credit or Voucher: Upon accepting a trade-in offer, you will receive store credit or a voucher equivalent to the agreed value. This credit can be used towards purchasing any item at Price Point Electronics.
• No Cash Refund: Trade-in credit is issued in the form of store credit or voucher only. Cash refunds are not available under the trade-in program.

5. Using Trade-In Credit

• The trade-in credit can be used to purchase any product in-store or online at Price Point Electronics, subject to the terms and conditions of the store. The trade-in credit cannot be exchanged for cash or used for services.
• Combination with Promotions: The trade-in credit may be combined with other ongoing promotions, discounts, or loyalty rewards, unless stated otherwise.

6. Limitations & Exclusions

• Trade-In Limit: There is no specific limit to how many items you can trade in, but the value of the trade-in credit will be based on each individual device’s worth.
• Non-Transferable: Trade-in credit is non-transferable and can only be used by the person who made the trade-in transaction.
• Expiration: Trade-in credit or vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue. After the expiration period, the credit will no longer be valid.

7. Final Sale of Trade-In Items

• Once you accept a trade-in offer, the transaction is final. The device will become the property of Price Point Electronics, and we will handle its recycling or reselling according to our internal procedures.

8. Warranty and Returns

• Please note that trade-in items are not covered by any warranty. Once the item is traded in, it cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded.
