Xiaomi Redmi A1+ Android Smartphone was launched in October 2022. It is priced in Kenya at KES 11,500, running on the Mediatek MT6761 Helio A22 (12 nm) processor with PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The phone has 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage which is expandable using microSDXC (dedicated). The Redmi A1+ has a 6.52 inches, 720 x 1600 pixels IPS display with a pixel density of 269 PPI. Coming to cameras, it has an 8 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera for selfies. It has a micro-USB port for data syncing and charging. A fingerprint sensor is also present on the Redmi A1+, along with an accelerometer sensor. It is a dual SIM smartphone with 3G, Wi-Fi, FM Radio, and GPS support. The Redmi A1+ runs on Android 12 (Go edition) and a 5000 mAh battery powers all this. It measures 164.9 x 76.8 x 9.1 mm (height x width x thickness) with a total weight of 192 grams including the battery.
