About the MacBook Pro 16-inch M2 Pro
Packed with 40 billion transistors, which is nearly 20% more than the M1 Pro and double the amount in the M2, the Apple M2 Pro integrates the CPU, GPU, Neural Engine, I/O, and more into a single system on a chip (SoC). Built with 2nd-Gen 5nm process technology, the Apple M2 Pro delivers the performance you need without sacrificing power efficiency. The 12-Core CPU features eight performance cores and four high-efficiency cores. The 16-Core Neural Engine provides support for on-device machine learning acceleration and improved camera performance.
The M2 Pro offers up to 200 GB/s of memory bandwidth as well as support for up to 32GB of unified memory. The efficient architecture of M2 Pro means they deliver the same level of performance whether MacBook Pro is plugged in or using the battery. With up to a 19-Core GPU, the M2 Pro delivers up to 20% faster CPU performance than the M1 Pro. The M2 Pro can support up to two external displays.
